Illustrations below should be seen as representing illustrative samples cut out from
much larger, arbitrarily large, billets, slabs, mats, etc. of mass-produced stock.

Stock can be continuously mass produced as 3D-woven engineered material,
impregnated & cured to suit. Cured end-product may be rigid or flexible.
Animated 3D-CAD models of equipment to mass produce these
3D-woven bulk materials can be generated for party/parties interested in the
development of such equipment.

On-site consulting, surveillance, trouble-shooting during
equipment-fabrication & production-startup can be provided.
Availability thereafter for further product development a possibility.

(1) INTRODUCTION
This website describes each member of a family of five isotropic 3D-weave types with
text, illustrations & photographs.
These weave types are designated as the "IIIR"- "IIIL"-,"OOO"-, "IIO"- "OOI"- weave types respectively,
They are patented under US patent 5,263,516,
and are designated by the following trademark:
"Isoweave" (TM).
(tri-axially isotropic 3D weave)
Note:
The "IIIR"- "IIIL"-,"OOO"-, "IIO"- "OOI"- weave types were formerly designated as
"R"- "L"-,"E"-,"S"- "C"- weave types respectively
and are so designated in the patent.
(2) ORIGINS
In the world of 2D-weaving -the world of fabrics- the simplest form thereof is one recognized by all.
A fabric so woven is referred to as a "simply woven fabric" in this website.
Such fabric has a unique, defining geometric structure, which one could call its "base geometry".
Similarly, the five 3D-weaves also have their respective "base geometries".
These five base geometries -and only these- are exact mathematical 3D-analogs of
the base geometry defining a simply woven fabric.
In fact, searching for the exact mathematical 3D-analog of the base geometry defining
a simply woven fabric resulted in discovering five -and only five- such analogs.
By this discovery the five 3D-weavements became evident.
The base geometries of these five 3D-weaves are described generically
in the first page upon entering this site and and they are then described distinctly and serially
in the five subsequent pages.
